Uncontested Flat Fee
divorce Packages

Uncontested divorce with no children: $595

Uncontested divorce with children: $695

Whether contested or uncontested, your marriage will end. The determining factor is where you want to land. Would you rather work toward agreements to protect community wealth and do what is best for the family, or fight in court which will quickly deplete all assets and leave you very sorry you didn’t pick Door #1? (i.e., not holding a fixed position and committing to operating in good faith with a willingness to give a little to gain a little).

Divorce packages are only available to clients whose matter is uncontested, (i.e., parties are in agreement on division of property/debt, parenting issues, residential time,  and child support, etc.
).

While the parties can communicate directly, only one party can be represented by Resolution Family Law.  The other party has the option to join the action, and have outside counsel review the final documents before filing.

Taking a matter to trial means costs will escalate hugely. Trials also come with a lot of risk–even with good facts and case law on your side.

This package includes:

–Drafting of Petition and summons.

–Drafting of all motions, orders, child support, parenting plan, supporting documentation, including the Final Divorce Decree.

*Flat fees and hourly rates do not include costs and expenses such as postage, service fees, filing fees, copies, etc.

What Is An Uncontested Matter
& Why They Rock

A matter is considered uncontested, when both parties come to agreement on all issues without the need of court intervention. This is by far the lowest cost, least emotionally devastating, and quickest option available.

When either party disputes one or more issues, the matter becomes contested leading down a road of  drawn-out, expensive, stressful legal battles ending in a costly trial. There will be hearing after hearing, emotional devastation, time off work, and a huge investment in legal fees.

A contested divorce in Washington State takes an average of one to two years to complete and cost upwards of $20,000
. Hardly anyone tells you that going in.

Contested matters end with a costly trial where a judge, unfamiliar with the parties or their children, makes  decisions about what is in their best interest.

T
he judge does not know you or your children. After getting a very brief snapshot of your life, decisions will be made in a matter of minutes that will have a long-term impact you and your kids.
